Each bar has a potential overpour of approximately 5% silver; your bar will be a minimum of 2 Troy Ounces, however, as these bars have been hand poured to weight by eye, all bars are actually slightly over this weight.
The Barn Owl Trust is a small national charity who work tirelessly to stop the rapid decline of Barn Owls in the UK and try to reduce the pressure put on them from environmental and manmade factors. They believe that through conservation and increased environmental awareness, they can help reverse the Barn Owl’s decline and protect their habitat.
This is achieved through education, training, research and practical conservation work, much of which is done on their 26 acre nature reserve in Devon. They run an Owl hospital that cares for and rehabilitates injured owls and provide a sanctuary for those Owls that cannot be released. Working with landowners, councils and the public, to foster awareness on how to increase Barn Owl numbers and maintain populations. This organisation is the main source of Barn Owl training for Ecological Consultants and Surveyors across the UK. They make nest boxes for supporters to purchase which not only provides some income but improves breeding success opportunities.
