The sixth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac, the Lunar Snake is said to represent mystery, wisdom, and determination.
Years of the snake include 2025, 2013, 2001, 1989, 1977, 1965, 1953, 1941, 1929, 1917, and 1905.

The Perth Mint Background
The Perth Mint opened in 1899 in response to the discovery of rich gold deposits in Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie. The heritage building was situated in the heart of Perth, the capital and largest city of Western Australia.
