This pre-owned 2017 Sapphire Jubilee £5 Silver Proof Coin from the Royal Mint was issued to celebrate 65 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign.
The reverse design by Glyn Davies features the Imperial State Crown set with the Stuart Sapphire, surrounded by detailed symbolic engraving representing the Queen’s long service. The obverse displays a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
Struck in 925 sterling silver to a proof finish, the coin measures 38.61mm in diameter and weighs 28.28g.
