Royal Mint Paddington Bear 50p Coin Collection
Originally launched in 2018 to celebrate Paddington Bear’s 60th anniversary, The Royal Mint’s Paddington 50p collection quickly became a firm favourite among collectors. Designed by David Knapton, each coin captures the much-loved character in his iconic hat and duffle coat as he visits some of London’s most famous landmarks.
Available in Brilliant Uncirculated, Silver Proof and Gold Proof editions, the series pairs nostalgic storytelling with exceptional minting quality.
The reverse design features Paddington in his signature attire, sometimes holding a Union Flag, while the obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
