Silver UK Two Dragon Coin, 2018
With a limited mintage of just 50,000 coins, the new Royal Mint 1oz Silver UK Two Dragon coin is sure to be a hit with investors and collectors worldwide.
The obverse of the coin displays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, along with the face value of 2 pounds against a modern guilloche background. The original reverse design celebrates 50 years of production at the Mint’s current base in Wales and references its expanding bullion business in China. The design is influenced by the Yin and Yang and depicts two dragons, one representing the Chinese dragon and one depicting the Welsh dragon. The coin includes the inscription “TWO DRAGONS” as well as the purity and year.
