Gold UK Lunar Pig 2019
The Gold UK Lunar Pig is the sixth in The Royal Mint’s series of lunar coins brought to life by artist Harry Brockway. Behind the sow, who is lying comfortably with her children who are feeding, is a countryside landscape at night, featuring a traditional country home.
Only once every 12 years does the pig appear in the Chinese zodiac, making this a unique moment to celebrate an ancient Chinese tradition.
