The Oriental Border design is a variation to the standard Britannia coin and mintages were restricted to 50,000 per year. The coins were designed to be more attractive and of greater appeal to the Asian market.
Britannia coins are currently issued with an unlimited mintage, if you are looking for limited edition UK coins we also stock other series including the UK Lunar and Queen’s Beasts. The smaller gold sovereign coins may also be worth considering.
