1oz Silver Engelhard American Prospector Round, Mixed Years
The obverse of the 1oz Silver American Prospector round features an image of the Engelhard logo along with “ENGELHARD” around the top edge with the metal weight and purity under the logo. The reverse features an image of an American prospector panning for gold in a river with for example “USA 1982” either side of the figure and “THE AMERICAN PROSPECTOR” under the image. This Silver round was produced by Engelhard in the United States.
Vintage Engelhard rounds have always been popular with bullion investors, with the Prospectors being the first regularly produced investment-grade silver rounds.
