Her Majesty The Queen celebrated her eightieth Birthday in 2006 and to honour her remarkable life, The Royal Mint issued this special commemorative crown. The Queen’s Eightieth Birthday Crown features a design by Danuta Solowiej-Wedderburn on the reverse and Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of the queen on the obverse. The edge inscription reads ‘Duty Service Faith’
