HM Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee, dated 2022
The £5 Gold Coin is produced from 24-carat (99.9% fineness) gold, weighs 31.10 grams and contains a total of 31.10 grams of fine gold. There is also ‘selective’ platinum plating on the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, on the reverse of the coin.
This coin is presented in a gorgeous black satin, mechanically tailored Box as shown in the pictures.
The reverse effigy (Platinum Plated) was designed by Luigi Badia while the obverse is the official, Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
