Bleyer Privacy Policy - April 2014

Your privacy matters to Bleyer Bullion so whether you are new to Bleyer or a long-time customer, please do take the time to get to know our practices – and if you have any questions contact us.

This privacy policy together, with our Terms and Conditions and any other documents referred to in it, applies to the use of information collected by Bleyer and its employees, together with any emergency telephone answering service company sourced directly by the CEO of Bleyer.

Our Privacy Policy explains:

·         what information we collect and why we collect it;

·         how we use that information; and

·         the choices you have with regard to the use of your personal information.

Collection of Information

When you enquire, purchase or open an account with us, we collect the following personal information from you:

information sufficient to identify you to us and ensure that you are who you say you are and provided to us in accordance with due diligence, contact information such as name, email address, mailing address and telephone number; and any online account unique identifiers such as user name and password where Bleyer has an online purchasing option.

When you sign up for our Newsletter, we collect your email address and name.

As is true of most websites, but subject to your browser settings, we automatically gather information about your computer such as your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages and operating system.

We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

Use of Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect and improve our services and to protect Bleyer and our users. We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy and/or our Customer Agreement.

When you contact Bleyer, we may keep a record of your communication to assist us and you in ensuring that you get the best from our services.

Information Storage

We may process your personal information on a server located within our office building or outside the country where you live, and such personal information may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). Wherever we process or store your personal information we will, in addition to complying with all applicable laws and regulations in that jurisdiction, comply with this Privacy Policy.

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers (for example Secure Precious Metals offshore storage facility). By submitting your personal data, you agree to this processing, storing and transfer.

Choice/Opt-Out

You may choose to stop receiving our Newsletter by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails or by contacting us.

Information Sharing

Bleyer will treat as confidential all information it holds in relation to a Customer where that information is not in the public domain. Subject to this clause Bleyer will not disclose such confidential information to third parties.

We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy. We will not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease any of your personal information collected, including application forms, financial data or email addresses.

Bleyer may ask for your permission by email to disclose your personal data to service providers not affiliated with Bleyer, but you have the right to refuse.

We may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as emailing newsletters or offering customer service. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.

We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners – like publishers, advertisers or connected sites. For example, we may share information publicly to show trends or publish market research.

We will disclose otherwise confidential personal data and confidential information if we are compelled to do so by laws and regulations applicable to us and/or our agents, and whether in the United Kingdom or elsewhere.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

As is true of most websites, but subject to your browser settings, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and clickstream data.

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyse trends, to administer the site, to track users' movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We do not link this automatically collected data to personally identifiable information.

We use a third-party tracking service, Google Analytics, that uses cookies to track aggregate non-personally identifiable information about visitors to our site such as number of visits, searched pages and browser type to improve our website and customer experience.

Persistent cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.

If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site will be limited.
